Fort Siloso is Singapore's only preserved coastal fort which features interactive exhibits that recreate the drama of one of the most tempestuous chapters in local history. It is home to the nation's largest collection of World War II memorabilia. It is a great learning environment about our country’s history as children will get to gain hands-on experiences and witness the real artifacts.

A tram is also available to bring you on a journey through history, with entertaining guides bringing the past to life and explaining the fort's vital role in defending the Malayan region. There are old tunnels to be explored and original guns, cannons, film clips and photographs from yesteryear to be discovered.

There are also free guided tours every Fri, Sat, Sun & Public Holiday, 12.40pm & 3.40pm, limited to 20 people per tour. Register early at the Fort Siloso Tram station. The Fort Siloso History Passport, a place-based quiz book, provides the opportunity to fully gain the knowledge and enjoy the unique offerings of the fort. It is highly recommended that children get to do some work using the quiz book, or not, our very own Fort Siloso Learning Journey worksheet will be given out on the day of visit or can be downloaded online below.
